Girl Scout Volunteers have the authority to open a Girl Scout Troop or Service Unit Bank Account following the instructions below:

All troops and service unit bank accounts must provide the following information:
- A letter provided by Volunteer Services on Girl Scouts Letterhead
- Their 4 digit troop number or 3 digit Service Unit Number
- FEID letter with 501c3 tax exempt verification
- Signatures of two unrelated background checked adult members of Girl Scouts
